Under the patronage of the EU Presidency, this high-level 3-day event addressed urgent water challenges through research, innovation, and policy integration. With a strong focus on sustainability, resilience, and global competitiveness, it highlighted innovative models, including Water-Oriented Living Labs (WOLLs), which bridge research with real-world applications.
Our partner Marco Petitta from UNIROMA1 attended the event and contributed to discussions on the NINFA project and its research on groundwater management, sharing insights with participants on sustainable groundwater practices and the role of science in addressing water-related challenges.
