The ZeroPollution4Water Cluster, coordinated by Water Europe, brings together seven Horizon Europe projects—MAR2PROTECT, NINFA, UPWATER, H2OforAll, intoDBP, SafeCREW, and ToDrinQ—to tackle groundwater and drinking water pollution through research, innovation, and collaboration.

At this EU Green Week event, the cluster will present a new European Commission publication:
“Overview and Inventory of 32 Case Studies in Drinking and Groundwater” (March 2025), covering 18 countries and highlighting innovative technologies, policy insights, and real-world solutions.

The cluster supports key EU directives and contributes to water resilience by advancing monitoring systems, risk analysis, and sustainable treatment solutions.

Key outcomes include:

• Policy recommendations for EU water strategies
• Strengthened collaboration across sectors
• Greater visibility for zero-pollution water initiatives
• Opportunities for future partnerships in sustainable water management
