ZeroPollution4Water Cluster (ZP4WC) is excited to announce the public webinar “Climate Change and Groundwater: Resilience Building and Adaptation Strategies” organised by the three sister projects: Mar2Protect, NINFA, and UpWater.

The webinar aims to shed light on the pressing water challenges facing the Iberian Peninsula. We will engage with experts from Lisbon and Barcelona in discussions surrounding water resilience issues exacerbated by climate change.

The intention of the webinar is to increase the awareness on climate change and its impacts on groundwater quantity and quality, as well as to contribute to a better understanding of the hydrological cycle to improve the use of water resources.

We count on a broad uptake of knowledge sharing breakthrough solutions and innovative technologies for pollution prevention and mitigation as well as for enhancing our general understanding on pollution sources, pollution pathways and impacts, recognizing the potential synergistic effects of multiple stressors on groundwater quality.

This session is a contribution to EU Green Week objectives of promoting dialogue and collaborative action towards environmental sustainability.
