WINGS ICT Solutions provides complete integrated, intelligent digital (software, hardware) solutions and transformation for vertical business sectors; Environment (air quality, natural disasters), Utilities and Infrastructures (energy/water/gas, transportation, construction), Production & Manufacturing (food, factories/logistics), Service Sectors (health, education/culture, government, security/defense), as well as Smart Cities.

WINGS has developed Artemis-Water, a solution designed to significantly enhance monitoring of a water network by providing added value services in the hands of a water utility and related authorities. With real time measurements, transmitted over standardized communication technologies, Artemis-Water produces valuable insights on Smart Metering and Water Quality by means of leveraging the capabilities offered by Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence.

Within the NINFA project, WINGS is WP5 (“NINFA Platform development and validation”) leader. The objectives of WP5 include:

• Design the software platform architecture and the data model definition for the NINFA Platform.
• Perform software integration and validation in lab considering security and privacy requirements and concerns.
• Develop the acquisition and communication platform to retrieve, manage and communicate the field measurements, implementing a communication system between the software platform components.
• Develop new correlations to identify the synergistic effects of multiple stressors and pollutants on Groundwater.
• Develop the NINFA Decision Support System to synthesize data and model outputs and transform them into actionable insights/recommendations; and validate it with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop the Groundwater Knowledge Observatory and the social game mobile app.

ARTEMIS-Water will be the basis for developing the NINFA Platform.
